Ongoing status review

The Wildlife and Hunting Heritage Conservation Council is a federal advisory committee with the purpose of assisting the federal government in promoting hunting opportunities, the management of game species and their habitats.

In 2008, the council developed a Ten-Year Plan for Implementation to help guide national efforts.

In 2012, the council commissioned DJ Case and Associates to conduct an independent status review of the progress toward the actions outlined within the plan. Results of that effort are reported here.
