Assessment of Status: Partially Complete

The National Fish, Wildlife & Plants Climate Adaptation Strategy integrated stakeholders throughout the national, state and tribal governments to create a strategy for adaptation to climate change for many ecosystems. Additionally, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service have also moved ahead with strategic plans to adapt to the effects of climate change. While these efforts are ongoing, they do not necessarily "ensure" federal agencies consider the effects of climate change on wildlife.
